Welcome to Grace Covenant Church!!!
"Behold I send you Elijah the prophet before
the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord: And he shall turn the
heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their
fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.” Malachi
4:5&6) Jesus referred to more than one coming of the spirit of Elijah when he spoke of John the Baptist as being “Elias” (Matthew 11:14), but later said, “Elias truly shall first come, and restore all
things.” (Matthew 17:11) The book of Revelation also speaks of a powerful
ministry to visit the church in the end time. Chapter one (verses 16 and 20)
speaks of seven stars, seven angels (messengers) to the seven churches of
Revelation, chapters two and three. That this seventh messenger must be a
prophet is borne out in Revelation 10:7, which says, “But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished….” We believe this prophet to be none other than William Marrion Branham of
Jeffersonville, Indiana, USA, who spearheaded a great healing revival that
began in the United States and spread to Mexico and Canada and extended to
Europe, Africa and India. A number of notable evangelists also received their
inspiration to preach from this man. He brought a simple message of repentance
and a return to the principles of holiness, as taught by the early apostles,
and an outpouring of power by a return to the original Pentecost. He taught
water baptism in the Name of Jesus Christ, according to Matthew 28:19, Acts
2:38, 4:12, 8:16, 10:48 and 19:5. He taught us to partake of the Lord’s Supper,
a literal partaking of the broken bread and the wine as symbols of the body and
the blood or our Lord Jesus Christ (Matthew 26, Mark 14 and Luke 11). He also
taught that the believers should humble themselves by the washing of feet as
Jesus also taught us (John 13). William Branham also taught that salvation
comes by a new birth (John 3) and that only 100% obedience to the Word of God
entitles a person to receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, which qualifies
them for the out-resurrection from among the dead, termed the “rapture”. Believers of the message that
William Branham brought can now be found all over the world. His sermons, in
the form of audio tapes, as well as in printed and electronic form, have been
distributed by the millions, many in foreign languages. Brother Branham
directly and indirectly ministered to over 10 million people world-wide.
Thousands were healed by our Lord Jesus Christ under the ministry of Brother
Branham. Millions of souls were won to the Lord. Kings were prayed for,
congressmen were healed. Seven times around the world he preached the Gospel in
the power and demonstration of the Holy Ghost and spearheaded the greatest
revival in the history of the world since the days of the early apostles. Today, we wait in hope for the fulfillment of the promise of a return to the power of Pentecost (Acts 2:38). Recent world events, conditions within the professing church around the world and the obvious apostate condition of many so-called Christians, today, cause us to realize that, as every seed must bring forth of its kind, so the seeds of doubt, fear, unbelief, love of the world and its entertainments, lust for power and riches, must mature in the end-time before Christ makes His appearance to the world. Unbelievers are not known by roots, leaves, or flowers, but; “by their fruits ye shall know them.”
(Matthew 7:1-20) Truly did Jesus say that as it was in the days of
Lot,
